12 Months of Photos, October: Dressed-Up
I barely got this picture of a friend dressed as Jack the Ripper as everyone was going home from my brother’s Halloween party, but it turned out surprisingly well! It wasn’t what I had originally envisioned for this entry, but sometimes good results come from the least expected places.
12 Months of Photos, October: Halloween/Fall
One day after work I noticed that the light was perfect, so I set out to find some pictures. I noticed this place while driving along the road, and ended up stopping at a bowling alley across the street and tramping down through the weeds to get this picture. It was well worth it, though (as you can see), and I think I was able to get over some of my hesitation to go places that might be a bit out of the way, too.
12 Months of Photos, October: Black
Finding a photo for “Black” was pretty difficult for me. Nothing came to mind. I realize I was probably limiting myself quite a bit in how I was approaching it, but acknowledging that didn’t help very much.
In the end, I settled for this self-portrait of my new camera. In retrospect, I’m a little underwhelmed by it, but oh well.
12 Months of Photos, October: Pumpkins at Night
My brother carved this pumpkin and left it on the kitchen table, so I co-opted it for a photo shoot. Unfortunately, about a week later, it rotted and slumped very sadly on the table (but alas, I didn’t think to get a picture until after it had been cleaned up).
Well, I’m a bit late posting them, and I didn’t find them all, but I think it’s an okay start! Let me know what you think. =)
